1. Overview & Privacy Philosophy

Welcome to MoneyWise: Expense & Budget (“we”, “our”, or “the App”), developed and published by Angs Corp.

MoneyWise is a smart, offline personal budgeting and expense tracking utility. We believe that your personal financial records are entirely private. MoneyWise does not require bank logins, does not link to third-party financial data aggregators, and does not operate centralized database servers holding your income, expenditures, or account balances.

100% Local-First Bookkeeping: All accounts, expense categories, transactions, recurring bills, receipt images, and financial goals are processed and stored exclusively on your device hardware.

2. Financial Data Handled & Storage Protections

MoneyWise processes only the financial records you voluntarily record:

Account Profiles: Custom account names, currency choices, and manual balance tallies (no real bank account numbers or online banking credentials are ever collected or required).
Transaction History: Income, expense amounts, timestamps, tags, payee notes, and categories.
Budget Targets & Goals: Monthly budget thresholds and savings target progress.
Receipt Attachments: Digital photographs of receipts attached to transactions, stored directly in the app's local sandbox.

All records are stored locally in the isolated application database on your device and are never transmitted to developer servers.

3. Device Permissions and Usage

MoneyWise operates core financial management completely offline. Third-party integration is strictly confined:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

MoneyWise displays advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads.
Consent Management: We integrate Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for GDPR and CCPA compliance.
Complete Separation: The advertising SDK runs in an isolated container and has zero access to your transactions, account balances, budgets, or receipt attachments.

5. Local Storage Architecture, Data Theft Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice: MoneyWise is an offline personal ledger utility. Angs Corp operates no servers, financial databases, or cloud accounts holding your financial data. Because your data remains strictly on your personal hardware, Angs Corp bears no legal responsibility or liability for any financial data leaks, device theft, unauthorized access, or loss occurring on your device.

5.1 Zero Server Custody

Angs Corp never receives, views, audits, or sells your financial records. We have no access to your balances, expenses, or transactions.

5.2 Comprehensive Disclaimer for On-Device Compromises

Under no circumstances shall Angs Corp be held legally or financially responsible for:

Physical Loss or Device Theft: Physical theft of your phone, loss of custody, or unauthorized inspection while unlocked.
Malware & Spyware: Malicious apps, keyloggers, or unauthorized screen scrapers installed on your device that record inputs or screen contents.
User Negligence: Failure to set strong device locks or app biometric locks, or accidental deletion of transaction databases.
Rooted or Modified Environments: Operating system vulnerabilities on rooted, jailbroken, or custom ROM devices.
Financial Decisions: MoneyWise is a bookkeeping tool; Angs Corp does not provide certified financial, tax, or investment advice.

5.3 "AS IS" Warranty & Statutory Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONEYWISE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Angs Corp DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM DATA LOSS OR COMPROMISE.

6. Data Retention & User Control

You retain full sovereignty over your financial logs:

Export: You can export your financial history at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF, JSON).
Reset: You can clear your database or reset accounts at any time from Settings.
App Uninstallation: Deleting the app immediately destroys the local database and sandbox records.

7. Children's Privacy

MoneyWise is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
